I accept payment by check or cash at the conclusion of each tutoring session.  

Since students rely on my help I do my best to honor every commitment I make.  If a student has to cancel an appointment at the last minute it disrupts my schedule and causes me to forego working with other students who may have requested the same time slot.  For those reasons, I hope you will understand that the only cancellations I accept within 24 hours of an appointment are due to emergencies.  If you have to cancel for any other reason within 24 hours I ask to be paid for the time.

On rare occasions inclement weather may make it unsafe for me to travel to meet with a student.  Under those circumstances, I will reschedule or work remotely, without charge, by phone, teleconference or video conference with any scheduled student.
